Canada Day in Ottawa
Ottawa has some great bike trails:

We biked the Ottawa River Pathway from Bell’s Corners

past the beautiful new
Ottawa Public Library and Library and Archives Canada building

to downtown Ottawa for Canada Day Activities on Wellington Street:

and on Parliament Hill:

Then we rode up the Rideau Canal:

to Hog’s Back Falls:

to watch some kayakers frollicing in the course:

before heading back to Bell’s Corners through the Experimental Farm.
Wednesday, July 2
Ottawa
Our big accomplishment today was baking our first loaf of bread in the Camper Van:

and visiting another friend.
Thursday, July 3
Ottawa
Visited another friend and again didn’t take any pictures.
Friday, July 4
Manotick
We visited with Uncle Bob:

who got in a picture with Sleepy Hollow:

Saturday, July 5
Pointe-Claire
We spent most of the day figuring out how to repair the gear shifter on Henry’s e-bike. Somehow, the cables in the shifter came loose, partially came out of their housing, and abraded on each other until they broke. We will spare you the pictures.
Since the Enviolo gear changers is a bit different than most gear shifters, and we wanted to go to a shop that knew them, which we found in Pointe-Claire.
While we were in Point-Claire, walked around the village to the Pointe-Claire Windmill:

and the Paroisse St-Joachim de Pointe-Claire:
